The Demon wasn't a simp until before he died. Seriously, i'm glad he didn't tell his name to the demon because i don't want to hear more "Rein" anymore. It was pretty much overused and super cringe with how much characters call his name with sweet voice even it was only a name. If i have 1 thing to complaint about this show, it has to be that.

So two things, one he really didn't care prior so didn't listen. And two it could be more than just a name request, it could be part of a curse. There is a lot of series with the whole if you tell your name to a demon they can do somthing because of that.

Yeah I had this thought as well. We don't know that the demon didn't already know it from them saying it all the time. He could easily be lying about not hearing it. In which case he wan't asking to learn it. Most likely ether a form of contract or curse, and 100% no reason to take that risk. Rein is a very nice and courteous person, that he did somthing as bad manners as refusing to name himself like that means that there was a reason. He is very knowledgeable so good chance he would know the risk there.

Nope. Not at all especially, Gravity Manipulation cuz’ Rein can fly. And with Material Creation, he can creat things with his magic unless his mana gets exhausted. I have read further a little bit so I don’t want to give any spoilers.
